Our Company

SMR Technologies, Inc. (SMR) specializes in the design and manufacture of mission critical aerospace and military defense products. Since its inception in 1965 SMR has been a market leader in aircraft de-icing systems, inflight refueling components, smoke and fire isolation panels, hovercraft skirting, inflatable floats, boats and rafts. SMR also produces critical composite wing leading edges and a wide range of other complex composite assemblies.

SMR is located in beautiful Fenwick, West Virginia, known as the Mountain State because it's the only state completely within the Appalachian Mountain region.

SMR is under the umbrella of the Loar Group who has has created a strategic global alliance of companies specializing in the design and manufacture of aerospace and defense components.
